Business Review: S&S Sanitation Creola,AL

I am done with S&S Sanitation that are based out of Creola, AL.

We re-established garbage service with S&S again early 2023 after a cancelling them previously because they stopped picking up garbage and had an excuse of their truck being broken down.

We had been with C&C but she said that her daughter would have her own company called CMS or something … it got confusing and we just switched back to S&S.

Right away with S&S we had nothing but problems. The guy who would pick up the garbage would slam the cams down., Kick them, and sometimes leave garbage still in the cans. Not to mention when we had a heavy box that we sat on top of there, garbage cans refused to pick them up. They got later and later with service starting at 1 AM on Thursdays to arriving around 4 AM on Thursdays. You could never pinpoint the time when they were actually going to pick up your garbage you just had to best guess it. 

It got really bad around October, where they were sending text messages back to us about denying that he was even kicking or throwing the cans. They even were seen going through bags of trash! They kept denying any wrong doings! We would show them evidence that he slammed them down and they were getting overly aggressively defensive.

It all escalated today. 

They show up in the early morning hours on Thanksgiving Day and in a different truck That’s not a garbage truck but just a pick up truck. Dooms was being overly cautious because we’ve had a lot of people destroying mailboxes or going through mailboxes and stealing stuff also a lot of other theft and vandalism in the area so when Dooms saw a regular truck and not a garbage truck Of course he went to the end of the driveway and asked who it was. 

Yes he does carry a machete with him, but it’s usually in it sleeve and he doesn’t take it out and wheeled it around or anything like that, but it was for protection. He has a right to protect himself in his own yard and driveway!

He yelled at them and asked them to identify themselves, he then was approached very aggressively by the male black man that picks up the garbage screaming who began him that he would “kick his ass” and “kill him” cause he was a “snitch” ( I guess for complaining of how he was kicking and throwing our cans around before). They even questioned why Dooms was outside at that time like he was guilty of doing something when this is what Dooms has done every week since 2010!

Then the lady who drive the truck got involved and got between them and try to smooth things over and then they left. 

It didn’t sit well with Dooms and it didn’t sit well with me that happened. 

Pick up garbage truck instead of your garbage truck? Were you going through the garbage as you put it in the back of your truck? Why did he come at Dooms overly aggressive when Dooms just asked him to identify himself? 

Dooms always is down there waiting for the trash which is why we know they came for the last year at different times and never a solid schedule! We also know about the going through bags, slamming and kicking of cans, and the unprofessional way they have handled being a garbage service! 

Dooms got very suspicious of them starting in October so he video taped and took lots of pictures! He always is outside every week when they pick up trash and always has his machete in its sleeve with him in case of trouble!

I contacted her via text message and got the following message responses shown below!

I canceled the service that day and I want my refund to $25 for the month of December since I’m canceling it on November 28, 2024. 

Update: She has yet to respond and give me the money back as of November 30, 2024.

Update: 12/5/24 6:30pm

She messaged Dooms and told him we still owed her money! The gall of this bitch! I went back and looked at my records through PAYPAL which is what she accepts and everything was paid on time! She even went back a year and said we were late when we were NOT! 

I paid for 3 months every three months and now she is saying we still owe?!?! 

Oh, she came back at the end and said she zeroed it out! And she got that Karen bitchy attitude talking about “have a good day but check your records!” 

Fuck her!
