Voice in my head
Buzzing in my brain
Is it me or THEM
I can’t tell anymore
Do this, do that
Is it my will or theirs
Tap tap tap
Can you hear me
Let me out
I’m trapped inside this hell
Is it of my making or something more
Tap tap tap
The noise is louder than before
The door opens and I see them
The keepers of my chains
I drown in malcontent and melancholy
They continue to torment me
I am never free
